Fall and Winter Trends

Biggest Color trend of this season is Camel. Other colors for fall 2010 are, Rich purple, mixed olive tones, and more metallics and bright red.

1. Camel—If you're not sure if you have any camel in your fall/winter wardrobe, now's the time to stock up. The best bet would be a camel blazer or overcoat.

2. Rich Purple—Gem tones dominated runways for fall/winter 2010, along with deep purple and plum colors that lit up the shows.

3. Modern Metallic—In little skirts, tailored blazers, and floor-length dresses, silver, gold, and soft copper all returned the runways for fall in a big way, thanks to Marc Jacobs, Alexander Wang, and Moschino.

4. Mixed Olives—Building on the military trend that began a few seasons ago, all shades of olive greens, browns, and fatigues had a surprise impact for the fall season.

-Fabrics
Texture, whether it is from leathery water snake or slinky chain details or fringe.
Fur is huge this season; most designers have come out with great collection of faux fur jackets, vests, scarves and other accessories. You’ll find it on bags, boots, and everything in between.

-Prints
You can not get away from animal prints this season. Snake skin, leopard prints, zebra, etc…You can find some fur scarves or vest in animal print which is having two trends in one. Shoes, bags are no exception and a great way to show you know trend without dressing in animal prints, just an accent would do the job.

-Military Style
This style is finding its way from last year to this year. But this season we will see more of it. Not only in jackets but mostly in boots also. This trend goes hand in hand with the new olive and green color trend for this season.
