So… being in the middle of the award season I was asked if it’s easy to style couples or is it better to stay away from taking couples as clients? I believe every stylist has a different approach and options on this. I personally really enjoy styling couples.
Styling couples for the red carpet is an exhilarating experience that combines creativity and fashion flair. The challenge of curating complementary looks that not only showcase each individual’s personality but also harmonize as a pair is both thrilling and rewarding. From selecting the perfect attire to coordinating colors and accessories, every detail contributes to creating a visually stunning ensemble. The joy lies in witnessing the confidence and joy that radiate from the couple as they step onto the red carpet, their outfits seamlessly blending into a harmonious visual narrative. As a stylist, it’s immensely satisfying to play a role in crafting these memorable moments of sartorial synergy. However remember, the supporting partner should never outshine the star but compliment his/ her look. 💃🏻🕺🏻

I was asked to do a few must haves for men as well

I was asked to do a few must haves for men as well. So here are a few items I think could be good basics in every guy’s closet.
-A pair of well fitted dark wash denim
-A dressy sneaker in white or black
-A few well fitting simple T-shirts
-A nice bomber jacket in a neutral color
-A sports jacket
-A nice coat if you live in a colder climate.
Then you can add other necessary basics to build a wardrobe depending on your lifestyle. Few thinner sweaters that can be worn under the jackets paired with jeans or trousers, couple trousers of course in a slim fit, and button up shirts. There are endless ways you can mix and match basics based on your personal style and life to creat a handful of looks.

I got in to Fashion because of my love for Film &

I got in to Fashion because of my love for Film & TV. I thought since I had a late start in life, (being an immigrant and all) that was my shortcut. To go to school at FIDM, learn Costume Design, and that way get in the movie business. Well, things don’t always work out the way you plan them. 😐
I ended up studying Visual Commissions instead and became a wardrobe stylist. I eventually got to work on sets as a head of wardrobe department for a few small movies before I switched to celebrity styling and then after pandemic pivoting to “Luxury Personal shopping”. However I feel the pain for those who rely on entertainment business to earn a living. It’s real hard work and if Writers don’t work, actors won’t and when actors don’t work their whole team is out of work and so are the crew. That’s catastrophic when you think about how many people, specially in LA work in the business. Let’s hope for a quick resolution. 🤞🏽#writersstrike #sagaftra

I get asked this question all the time, “ Which is easier? OR Which do I prefer, styling Men or Women?” Although I know most people look for a definite answer, for me, it’s about the person I work with. Styling men vs. Women has its own rewards and challenges. For example, men in General are more laid back and trust the process, women however can be more collaborative and clear on communication. With men, we don’t have a lot of options so we have to be a lot more creative, with women’s clothing there are endless options. So, just like everything in life, they each have their own pros and cons. When deciding on your career path, try it all and figure out on your own which you enjoy more. Because loving what you do is true freedom and happiness 🥰😎🥳 #celebritystylist

He is extremely talented and an OG of this industry. If you’ve ever seen a photo of Zendaya on the Red Carpet and admired her look, it’s Law’s magic. He recently announced he is Stepping away from styling celebrities and what he’s said below in his statement hit home with me. Specially the politics of it all and the so called “ GATEKEEPERS” Here is a piece of his statement.
